hello! my name is Mingchao and i am a 3D student currently studying in Lasalle College of the Arts.
I record and share my work process of my final school project which is a animated TV commercial (TVC). The project is a 30 second 3D match move animation. Since this is my last student work at school and it may also be my last opportunity to make my own animation project in the next few years, so I really hope this animation shows all my skills, especially my modeling skill.
I watched a lot of tvc, I the classify into several type
1. Directly introduce and display product to attract customers (our products are better than others, buy our products)
2. Show the needs (pain point) and let product solve the problem. (you need this product)
3. Displaying products selling point lead to “bad” result .
I prefer to do the second or third type of TVC in this project because
1, it is more interesting2, it has more animation to show
my initial ideas of the product
1. Protective helmets sold to zombies.
2. Plush toys that change in size and appearance
3, drinking straw directly to the straw

Maybe elaborate more on the idea and show sketches of its visuals.

Nice creative ideas of your products. I think it will be awesome if you can specify them. For example, what does the helmet protect the zombies from, what’s the difference of it compare to human helmet. Looking forward to the details of them on your next post.
